Martian Blues continues the story line twenty years after the ending of Been Blued.  Humans and Martians have been living in relative peace, preparing for the invasion of the hostile aliens.  The Martians have been allowing a space orphan, Lyle, to grow up as a human; after he takes on his true form, he may be the one deciding factor in victory or defeat for planet Earth.
